Paul Trinquero, Justin Mann, David Ballard, Jillian Turner, Joshua Delaney and Andrey Henry have been inducted into the University of Georgia Chapter of the Blue Key National Honor Society. The Blue Key National Honor Society recognizes men and women of outstanding character and ability who have achieved distinction for their leadership abilities as well as recognition for scholarship and service. The University of Georgia Blue Key chapter was established in 1926, and for 84 years, membership in this organization has been considered one of the highest honors on campus.
Trinquero of Peachtree City, is majoring in economics and finance and is expected in graduate in May of 2011. Trinquero received the Terry Excellence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Economics, and is a check-out volunteer and spanish translator for the Mercy Health Center.
Mann of Fayetteville, is majoring in marketing and is expected in graduate in May of 2011. Mann is the executive director for UGA Relay for Life and is an Arch Society member.
Ballard of Fayetteville, is persuing a juris doctor and is expected in graduate in May of 2011. Ballard is on the executive board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and is president of the Demosthenian Literary Society.
Turner of Tyrone, is majoring in international affairs and public administration and is expected in graduate in December of 2011. Turner received the President’s Volunteer Service Award and interned for U.S. Senator Kay Hagan in Washington D.C.
Delaney of Fayetteville, is majoring in advertising and theatre and is expected in graduate in May of 2011. Delaney has been a Friends for Life mentor for two years and is a member of the Dean William Tate Honor Society.
Henry of Fayetteville, earned a masters in accounting in May of 2010. Henry was the class president for the Leonard Leadership Scholars Program and was the vice president of Finance for the Dean William Tate Honor Society.
