US Veterans, young & old, will have the opportunity to enroll in the US Veterans Administration Health Care Program in an expedited and fast track manner. Peachtree City American Legion Post 50, with the support of Peachtree City VFW Post 9949, Fayetteville American Legion Post 105 and the Marine Corps League, will present a help session for all local area veterans. If you have not enrolled with the VA, please do so.

The Post has coordinated a visit by Steven Robinson of the Southeast Network of the Dept of Veteran Affairs to help our local veterans in filling out the forms to obtain VA assistance. VA health care has changed for the better. All veterans are now eligible to apply for VA health care benefits, not all is free but most veterans qualify for some benefits. Please bring your DD 214 or discharge papers to expedite the process.

The meeting will take place Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. at the CAF Hangar, Falcon Field, 1200 Echo Ct in Peachtree City. Any questions, call Arnie Geiger, Post 50 Commander, Peachtree City – 770-487-2128.
