The Southern Crescent Chorale under the direction of Janice Folsom is proud to present their sixth annual benefit concert on Sat., March 27 at 7 p.m. at the Southwest Christian Church in East Point, Ga. The concert will benefit The Children’s Village at Christian City. The Woodward Academy Choirs will join the SCC for an evening of outstanding choral music. Each choir will perform a short concert alone and at the conclusion of the concert, all choirs will join forces to perform three pieces for a grand finale.

The Woodward Academy Choirs under the direction of Stephen Rotz and Suzanne Woodruff are all outstanding ensembles and the Southern Crescent Chorale will be honored to share the stage with them for this occasion. A representative of the Children’s Village will briefly speak about the work of the organization and all audience members will have the opportunity to make a donation at the event.

The SCC has raised over $16,000 for worthy recipients such as the Atlanta Boys and Girls Club, the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home, the Southwest Christian Care “Hope House” Respite Center, the Joseph Sams School, and The Fayette Youth Protection Home. We are happy to continue this tradition of using our talents to give back to the community.
