It’s time again to show the holiday spirit. The Peachtree City Police Department is set to begin the annual Light Up the Night Toy Drive.

Sponsored by the police department and staffed by officers and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members, the Light Up the Night Toy Drive again this year will be held at the Walmart store off Ga. Highway 54 West and at the Kmart store in the Braelinn Village Shopping Center on Crosstown Drive.

“This is one of the most successful community outreach programs sponsored by the police department,” said department spokesperson Lt. Odilia Bergh.

The project provides a way for citizens to help those in need have a Merry Christmas.
