St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church outreach ministry is working with Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church to provide food to children in need. The ministry is called Joshua’s Gift. Volunteers fill backpacks every Wednesday with individual-sized food items and deliver them on Thursday to two elementary schools. Each backpack contains two lunches, two dinners and snacks for weekend meals.They are then distributed to food insecure families.
