Battle of the Bubble is April 22

The first-ever Battle of the Bubble lacrosse event, featuring the varsity boys and girls teams from McIntosh and Starr’s Mill, is scheduled for Friday, April 22, at Panther Stadium. 

The event is also a fundraiser with several family activities and all donations to benefit veterans. 

The varsity girls’ games is set to start at 5:45 p.m. 

There will be a senior presentation, and the varsity boys’ game is scheduled for 7:15. 

Custom-designed T-shirts commemorating the night will be on sale, designed by Ann Blaum and sponsored by Fayette Sporting Goods. 

Kids under 10 will have the opportunity to be selected to show their speed and shooting skills 

in the Kids Battle of the Bubble Race, sponsored by TCBY. 

The Lax Ball Toss will allow any participating person to test his or her shooting accuracy with the opportunity to secure one of several prizes, including the grand prize which is a $100 gift card, sponsored by Eaton Lighting, Georgia Shrimp Co., and Partner’s Pizza.
