Newnan hosting ‘Art Walk’ with local talent

Newnan is celebrating local talent with its bi-annual Art Walk on March 20 from 5 to 9 p.m.

During the Art Walk, downtown businesses extend their hours to host store front exhibits and demonstrations by a variety of Newnan’s finest artists.

Complimentary tastings and hors d’oeuvres will be served by some of local businesses, and others will have specials and promotions.

Visitors can expect to stroll through more than 30 locations, and see the work of at least 40 artists. Spectators and enthusiast will find a variety of types of art styles and mediums, including: oil on canvass, engraving, pottery, photography, jewelry-making, fiber arts, performing arts and acrylics. 

The free event takes place twice a year in Historic Downtown Newnan.
