Larry Dove, who owns the organic certified Two Doves Farm in Fayette County, will discuss the benefits of community gardening networks in a free horticulture class on Saturday, Feb. 14.

Dove and his wife, Twila, have more than 19 years of experience in organic vegetable gardening with their own farm and volunteer gardening projects through their church.

The free and public discussion is sponsored by the University of Georgia Extension office and will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in the Public Meeting Room of the Fayette Administrative Complex.

To hear about the benefits and sustainability of growing your own food, register for the class by calling 770-305-5412 ext. 7 or e-mail [email protected] with the names of those attending and a contact number.
