Luxury travel advisor Amanda Pullin will take Fayette County gardeners on a trip around the world — at least through photographs and stories — during the Fayette Master Gardener Association’s September meeting.
Pullin will present “The World’s Best Gardens” Tuesday, September 15, at 10 a.m. at The Bridge Community Center, 225 Willow Bend Road in Peachtree City. The meeting is open to the public, with social time beginning at 9:30 a.m. A business meeting will follow at 11 a.m.
Pullin is co-founder of dppTravel in Peachtree City and holds a degree in agriculture from the University of Georgia. Her presentation will highlight gardens she has visited around the world.
She is also a former science teacher and participated in 4-H programs both as a student and as an adult.
The Fayette Master Gardener Association is a nonprofit gardening organization made up of certified Master Gardeners as well as others with an interest in gardening. Certification is not required for membership.
The group meets monthly from August through May for programs with a horticultural emphasis and also hosts an annual plant sale. Proceeds from the sale support nonprofit community horticultural projects in Fayette County as well as a college scholarship for Fayette residents majoring in horticulture or agriculture.
