Kenadee Walker, a Fayetteville resident who attends the U.S. Air Force Academy Prep School, will be honored with a special ceremony in February when she receives a nomination to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy.
The special ceremony for Walker and 26 other students from Georgia’s 13th Congressional District who have nominations to attend a military service academy, will be hosted by U.S. Rep. David Scott, who represents the area in Congress.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Brawner Hall, 3180 Atlanta Road S.E., Smyrna.
