Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s Auxiliary is seeking applicants for the Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Memorial Scholarship.
The statewide, merit-based scholarship is awarded annually to students enrolled in a medical or health-related field of study, excluding pre-med or pre-nursing, at an accredited Georgia college, university or technical school medical program.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and provide an official transcript from the school they attend, two letters of reference and a personal narrative related to their occupational choice and goals.
A member of the Auxiliary Scholarship Committee will conduct interviews with all applicants who meet the requirements.
Applications are available at the Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., located in the 1279 Medical building, 1279 Highway 54 W., third floor, Fayetteville. The application deadline is Jan. 20, 2015.

“The Elizabeth Wilmot Bull Memorial Scholarship is given by the Georgia Hospital Association’s Council of Auxiliaries and Volunteers (CoA/V) in memory of its founder,” said Patty Johnson, Auxiliary Services specialist. “As a member of CoA/V, Piedmont Fayette’s Auxiliary is privileged to present this opportunity to students in our community.”
Since 1997, members of Piedmont Fayette’s Auxiliary have provided scholarship opportunities and support for the hospital through its many fundraising activities.
