Bren Briggs of The Eden Project Joins Fayette Chamber Nonprofit Council Leadership Team

Fayetteville, GA (July 28, 2025) – The Fayette Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Bren Briggs, founder and Executive Director of The Eden Project, has joined the Chamber’s Nonprofit Council leadership team, where he will help guide the group’s efforts to strengthen the nonprofit community and foster meaningful partnerships across Fayette County.

The Eden Project is an award-winning, all-volunteer, veteran-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fayetteville, Georgia. It serves veterans as a one-stop shop for reintegration, offering comprehensive support services tailored to the unique needs of military families. Services include peer group support, Veterans Administration claims navigation, crisis intervention, counseling, and family reintegration assistance. The Eden Project’s mission is rooted in building trust, restoring purpose, and empowering veterans to thrive after military service.

Briggs brings more than 30 years of experience in military service, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement to the Council. A retired U.S. Army officer and former U.S. Marine, he has dedicated his post-military career to helping others navigate complex life transitions. Under his leadership, The Eden Project has developed innovative programs that address the critical challenges veterans face, earning regional and national recognition for its holistic, peer-centered approach.
