Georgia REALTORS® to Deliver Comfort and Support to Breast Cancer Patients at Piedmont Fayette

Local visit highlights Georgia REALTORS®’ effort to bring comfort and support to breast cancer patients across Georgia

Georgia REALTORS® 2026 President Brianne Drake joined representatives from the Georgia REALTORS® (GAR) at Piedmont Fayette on Tuesday, Oct. 13 for a donation supporting patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The visit is part of GAR’s “3B’s to Kick C” initiative, which collects books, beanies and blankets for breast cancer treatment centers throughout Georgia.

The presentation coincided with GAR’s “Pink Out” day, when REALTORS® across the state were asked to wear pink to raise awareness of breast cancer. Drake, who is co-championing the initiative during her 2026 presidency, will take part in the local observance as GAR recognizes the importance of supporting patients and communities affected by the disease.

Through the “3B’s to Kick C” initiative, GAR invited members to donate items intended to provide patients with comfort and encouragement during treatment. Members contributed through a collection bin at GAR’s Annual Conference & Expo in September or by purchasing items through GAR’s Amazon wish list, with orders shipped directly to GAR headquarters.

The collection period ended Oct. 9, and the donated items are scheduled to be delivered to selected breast cancer treatment centers throughout Georgia in mid-October.

New and gently used books were accepted, while all donated beanies and blankets were required to be new with tags to help protect patients from infection.

The initiative reflects GAR’s commitment to supporting communities throughout Georgia and recognizing the patients and families affected by breast cancer.
