Sandy Creek JROTC students take flight

The sky is the limit for Sandy Creek High’s Air Force JROTC cadets. Over the spring semester, the cadets participated in a Curriculum in Action trip to Falcon Field in Peachtree City.

The Orientation Flight with the Civil Air Patrol brought them up close with a Cessna airplane. It was a great opportunity for hands-on learning as each of the cadets got a turn in the front seat and had a chance to control the plane.
