Fayette County, Georgia – Fayette County 911 Communications is proud to announce that Records Manager Sharon Miller has been elected to serve on the Georgia Records Association (GRA) Board of Directors, beginning her term in January 2026.

The Georgia Records Association is a statewide organization dedicated to advancing responsible records management practices across local and state government. Governed by a volunteer board, GRA brings together Records and Information Management professionals representing municipalities, counties, school boards, courts, law enforcement, state agencies, and universities. The Association focuses on education, professional development, and the promotion of effective, efficient information management throughout Georgia.

In her new leadership role, Miller will help support the Association’s mission to provide training, foster collaboration, promote understanding of Georgia’s records laws, and encourage best practices in information management.

“Sharon’s election to the Georgia Records Association Board of Directors is a testament to her expertise, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in records management. Her leadership will not only benefit GRA but also strengthen our department and the citizens we serve through improved information management practices,” said Katye Vogt, Fayette County 911 Communications Director.
