The City of Fayetteville’s Economic Development Department has announced the release of the seventh video in its “Telling Our Story” series. Titled “Reimagining Downtown,” the video will premiere on Monday, November 3rd, offering an inside look at the thoughtful revitalization transforming the City’s historic core.

Through interviews with key community figures and local entrepreneurs, “Reimagining Downtown” explores how Fayetteville is strategically blending its unique historic charm with modern vibrancy. The video highlights successful adaptive reuse projects like 240 Glynn Street, the former City Hall-turned-hub for women-owned businesses, and showcases the lively atmosphere fostered by new public spaces like City Center Park and community events. Viewers will hear directly from business owners like Kingslea Thompson of Hummingbird Wine Bar & Market and Amanda Poliak of Awkward Brewery about why they chose Fayetteville and how the City supports local entrepreneurship.

“There has been tremendous progress over the years,” said Derryll Anderson, a life-long resident and former Planning & Zoning Commission member. “It has become a place where there’s something to do for the entire family, and the City leadership has welcomed that. They are truly a ‘business-friendly’ council. They’ve been welcoming to businesses wanting to come here and finding a way to make them a part of our culture here, where we support each other.”

The video emphasizes Fayetteville’s commitment to creating a connected downtown that serves as a destination for residents and visitors alike, reinforcing the city’s motto, “No Limits On Imagination.”

“Reimagining Downtown” will be available to watch starting November 3rd on the City of Fayetteville’s official website(https://www.fayetteville-ga.gov/724/Telling-Our-Story-Videos) and its social media channels.
