The young Panthers remain on top. For the fourth-straight year, Rising Starr won the county middle school volleyball championship.

The 8th grade volleyball team capped off an incredible season with the title. They went undefeated and beat Whitewater and JC Booth in two sets during the county championship.

The champion Panthers are Emily Armada, Elle Banks, Kat Barch, Kenna Barkley, Kallie Barnes, Grace Buck, Alexa Cowan, Avery Cowan, Lexie Holmes, Kami Hoover, Anna Rice, and Emma Wright. Ella Ness, Grady McSpaddin, and Alexa Kalen are team managers.

They are coached by Nicole Comeau and Bob Didier.

“Our team developed great chemistry on the court, played strong and consistent volleyball, and forged friendships into a ‘family tree,’” said Coach Comeau. “Our coaches, teachers, students, and administrators are proud of their resilience, teamwork, and dedication.”
