MHS Chiefs Foundation awards scholarships

The MHS Chiefs Foundation recently awarded two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors.

Stella Gerson was awarded the MHS Chiefs Foundation Board of Directors Scholarship. Gerson will be heading to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in the fall to major in nursing.

Brianna Lyons was awarded the Chick-Fil-A 2nd Mile Scholarship. Lyons will attend the University of Alabama Huntsville and major in atmospheric science.

The scholarship winners were announced at the McIntosh High School Honors Night.
