Students shine at state tech competition

The winners’ podium was filled with Fayette students at the 2025 Georgia Student Technology Competition (GaSTC). 

Three students earned a Gold medal in their competition. 

Ayaan Sharma of Kedron Elementary won for Internet Applications for the 3/4th grade division. Aaradhya Bojanki and Dheeraj Katheragandla of Peeples Elementary won for Audio Production for the 3/4th grade division. 

Six students earned Silver in their competition. 

Ty Kugele and Colton Kaigler of Kedron placed 2nd for 3D Modeling for the 5/6th grade division. Jasmine Richards of Whitewater Middle placed 2nd for Audio Production for the 5/6th grade division. Alexander Myers and Mehdi Momin of Peachtree City Elementary placed 2nd for Device Modification for the 5/6th grade division. Arlington Kaiser of Huddleston placed 2nd for Video Production for the 5/6th grade division. 

Nine students earned Bronze in their competition. 

Rex Crisci and Walid Lezoul of Kedron placed 3rd for 3D Modeling for the 3/4th grade division. Andrew Belanger and Jeriel Diaz of Peeples placed 3rd for Animation for the 5/6th grade division. Aakash Bojanki and Siddhant Nahar of Rising Starr placed 3rd for Animation for the 7/8th grade division. Noah Palmer of McIntosh placed 3rd for Animation for the 9/10th grade division. Vaughn Kerrane of Starr’s Mill placed 3rd for Digital Game Design for the 9/10th grade division. Sydney Wynter of Sara Harp Minter placed 3rd for Mobile Apps for the 5/6th grade division. 

GaSTC is a statewide technology competition where students in grades 3-12 compete in a variety of technology categories with a goal to challenge students to become leaders in a digital age.
