Fayetteville, Georgia – Whitewater High School is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of The SpongeBob Musical, a vibrant and imaginative stage show based on the beloved animated series. This energetic production, featuring an original pop and rock-infused score by some of the biggest names in music, will take place on Thursday March 27 at 7:00 p.m., Friday March 28 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday March 29 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday March 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Whitewater High School, 100 Wildcat Way, Fayetteville, GA. The venue is handicap accessible.
Audiences of all ages are invited to dive under the sea and experience the unforgettable adventure of SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, and the residents of Bikini Bottom as they band together to save their undersea home from impending disaster. With dazzling sets, colorful costumes, and high-energy performances, this production promises to be a treat for the whole family!
“Our students have poured their hearts into bringing this show to life,” says Susan Simich, director of the production. “From the stunning musical numbers to the heartfelt story about friendship and resilience, this show is packed with humor, adventure, and an important message about the power of community.”
The SpongeBob Musical features a dynamic and diverse score with music from artists such as David Bowie, Panic! At The Disco, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Lady A., Steven Tyler, and more. Under the musical direction of Dana Lamb-Schaubroeck and the choreography of Susan Simich, alumnae Mikayla McGee, and student choreographer Jillian Wilson, the talented cast and crew are ready to deliver a performance that will have audiences singing and dancing along.
