Despite the change in her circumstances, this loving German Shepherd is still full of joy and hope, eagerly waiting for her forever home. Gretchen is looking for a family where she can shine as the one and only pet, as she thrives best in a home where she doesn’t have to share her humans with other animals. But don’t worry—she’ll fill that gap with an abundance of love and affection!
Gretchen is wonderful with children of all ages. She adores their energy and companionship, and her sweet nature makes her the perfect family dog. Once she’s had a chance to burn off some of her playful energy, Gretchen is more than happy to curl up and become the ultimate lap dog. Her affectionate, loyal demeanor will make you feel loved every day.
While she’s already a wonderful companion, Gretchen needs an experienced German Shepherd owner who can help guide her through training. This intelligent and eager-to-please girl is just waiting for the right family to give her the time, patience, and care she needs to become even more amazing than she already is. As an added bonus, TAO K9 has graciously offered two free group training sessions upon adoption to help jumpstart Gretchen’s training and set her up for success in her new home.
Gretchen is already spayed, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and ready to go home as soon as possible! If you’re looking for a devoted and loving companion who will be by your side through thick and thin, Gretchen could be the perfect match for you!
She is available for a meet-and-greet at the Fayette County Animal Shelter in Peachtree City. The shelter is open Monday through Friday, 11-5pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 12-5pm. We look forward to seeing you soon!
