You are invited to attend a meeting of 24-7 Prayer Fayette County on Monday, May 13, in Tyrone. 24-7 Prayer is an international, interdenominational prayer movement with a vision to revive the church and rewire the culture through non-stop night and day prayer.

Mary Frances Bowley, founder of Wellspring Living, is leading the local initiative, which began organically through regular people who are passionate about prayer and asking the Lord to start connecting them. The group is inspired and challenged by Pete Greig, who started 24-7 Prayer in the UK in 1999, when a simple student-led prayer vigil went viral, and groups all over the world joined to pray.

More than twenty years later, thousands of communities have taken part in the 24-7 Prayer in churches and cities in more than half the world’s countries. Grieg, author of Red Moon Rising and Dirty Glory, scribbled the vision for the movement late one night on the wall of the first 24-7 Prayer Room.

The meeting on May 13 will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Heart Encounters, which is located in the former Tyrone Elementary School, 876 Senoia Road, Tyrone.
