Wellspring Living, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting those at risk or victimized by sexual exploitation, is marking the 20th anniversary of the Wellspring Treasures retail stores. The anniversary will be marked by a special celebration event at the Peachtree City store on Saturday, April 13th at 9:00 a.m.
Since the first store opened two decades ago, the Wellspring Treasures stores have provided support, resources, and opportunities for survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking.
All retail sales directly support Wellspring Living and its anti-trafficking residential and community programs. The stores also provide career training and opportunities to participants in Wellspring Living programs.
To commemorate this significant milestone, Wellspring Living is hosting a special event filled with gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to their mission.
Stores have always been heavily dependent on volunteers, who accept and sort donations, display merchandise and greet customers.
Five remarkable volunteers, who have been with Wellspring Treasures since its inception, will be honored during the anniversary celebration. Sara Strandburg, Pat Stambaugh, Lynda Woods, Alice Redmond, and Clare Strickland have been with Wellspring Treasure Peachtree City location since its doors opened in 2004.
“We are profoundly grateful for the unwavering dedication of our volunteers who have been integral to the success and impact of Wellspring Treasures over the past 20 years,” said Michelle Graves, Director of Community Engagement of Wellspring Living. “We invite the community to join us as we celebrate 20 years of resilience, empowerment, and hope. These dedicated individuals have tirelessly contributed their time, passion, and expertise to empower survivors and champion the cause of ending sexual exploitation.”
In celebration of the 20th anniversary milestone, all items at the Wellspring Treasures in Peachtree City will be 20% off this weekend. The Wellspring Treasures 20th anniversary celebration will be held at the store’s location: 116 Peachtree East Shopping Center, Peachtree City, GA.
