John Grisham’s novel, “A Time to Kill,” touched on the themes of race, crime, and family in small-town America. It left readers to ponder the question, “When is it right to take justice into your own hands?” The novel was made into a film and it has also been adapted into a play. Southside Theatre Guild in Fairburn will bring the tale to life on the stage Thursdays through Sundays, Apr. 18-28. Auditions for the show will take place Wednesday, Feb. 7 and Friday, Feb. 9 with sign-ins starting at 6:30 p.m. and cold readings beginning at 7 p.m.
The cast calls for 11 males and three females, with three characters that could be of either gender. All of the characters but one should speak with a deep southern accent.
