Peeples takes a peek at unique beaks

There are all kinds of bird beaks, and Peeples Elementary 3rd graders took a peek at what makes them unique.

As they studied plant and animal adaptations, they got creative when they focused on the different type of bird beaks. Students used different “tools” to mimic the beak types, like clothes pins, toothpicks, and plastic and wooden spoons. They were able to see that different birds have different beak designs that are specifically based on their needs in order to survive.
