Matthew Littleton, age 45, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
Matthew was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 2, 1976. He is preceded in death by his parents, John William Littleton and Barbara Thomas Littleton.
After graduating from Fayette County High School, he attended Mars Hill College and Troy University where he received his Masters in Education. He was a former educator and soccer coach at Spalding High School, Cowan Middle School, and most recently at Ed White Middle Academy in Clayton County.
Survivors include his step-mother, Paula Littleton; sisters, Emily Littleton, Megan Littleton; brother, Jeremy Littleton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service to celebrate Matthew’s life will be on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, Georgia at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Riley’s Wish Foundation, http://www.rileyswish.com.
