The Rinnai America Corporation, which manufactures and sells tankless gas water heaters, announced the completion of the first phase of its North American headquarters expansion in Peachtree City, Georgia.

The expansion of the company is expected to help expand the number of employees from the existing workforce of 100 to 200 to deal with the demand for a particular product.

Based in Japan, the company manufactures gas appliances, including energy-efficient tankless water heaters, which are in great demand in the U.S., and home heating appliances.

Talking about the expansion, the Chief Operation Officer of Rinnai America Frank Windsor expressed hope that the company will be the largest manufacturer of energy-efficient products by 2021.

“Rinnai America is the leading provider of tank-less water heaters in North America with 40 percent market share. We participate in the residential and in the commercial business. One of the big steps that had taken place for business here this year was the expansion of our new corporate headquarters. We also opened up the domestic manufacture in Griffin, Georgia about 30 miles away. And in 2021, we will be building larger manufacturing facilities to support the business,” Windsor said.

Rinnai Corporation Vice President Derrick Black underscored that the most important goal of the company is to achieve a great quality of customers so that the firm becomes reliable to them.

“People enjoy the fact that they can get a continuous flow of hot water. It never runs out of hot water which can be common in the U.S. Our main goal is the fundamental concept of ‘Quality is our destiny.’ We want to achieve great quality for customers so that they can rely on the Rinnai water heater to work perfectly all the time. That is our first and most important goal,” Black said.

“The share of quality products by Japanese trusted technology has already been expanding worldwide. And efforts of the company continue to support and contribute to better people’s daily life,” he added.

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held July 28, 2017 on International Drive in Peachtree City for the more than $15 million expansion, including a new two-story headquarters and establishment of its North American Innovation and Training Center.

Upon completion of the company’s proposed 37,560-square-foot two-story headquarters and 25,110-square-foot Innovation Center, Rinnai’s expansion project will see its 8.4 acre campus expand by nearly 63,000 square feet, and include new buildings, testing equipment and other amenities.
