Dawana Marie Bruck Langdon, 83, of Newnan, Georgia, went to her eternal home with her heavenly Father on Friday, November 20, 2020. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by family.
Dawana was born on August 5, 1937, in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Andrew Frank and Margaret Kiley Bruck. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1955 and worked at Southwest Ohio Steel and then at General Electric. She married her high school sweetheart, Joseph F. Langdon, in 1958. She and Joe moved to Peachtree City, GA in 1994 where they enjoyed their retirement years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe in 2014 and her brother Andrew Bruck in 2017. Dawana leaves behind two children, Kari Lumme (Jason) of Newnan, GA and Jeff Langdon (Kelly) of Nashville, TN, four grandchildren, Joshua Lumme (Kate), Erin Chapman (Nathan), Hannah Lumme (Rebecca Johnston), and Jenna Langdon, and seven great grandchildren, Elijah, Kiley and Luke Chapman, Jack and Emily Lumme and Mackenzie and David Johnston-Lumme.
The family will hold a small Celebration of Life Service for family and close friends on Tuesday, November 24th at 3 PM at the home of Mrs. Langdon at 85 Vista Bella Way, Newnan, GA.
