Home video helped officers obtain a warrant for a 33-year-old man who entered a garage in Fayetteville on April 9 and stole an item from the home.
Fayetteville Police Department spokesperson Ann Marie Burdett said officers at approximately 2:57 p.m. on April 14 spoke with a resident of a South Shore Terrace home off White Road about an alleged burglary on or about April 9.
The resident said it was observed that their leaf blower was missing from their garage. The complainant reviewed home video recording and observed an unknown white male in their mid-20’s wearing a white shirt, beige shorts and a baseball cap enter his garage and remove the blower. The suspect left the area in an burgundy vehicle, Burdett said.
Burdett said investigators have identified 33-year-old Connor Ford as a suspect in the case. A felony criminal warrant for burglary was obtained. The suspect is believed to be a Fayetteville resident and lives in the general area of the burglary.
The suspect is still at large at this time, said Burdett.
In Peachtree City, police on April 13 responded to a call about a suspicious male on the Ardenlee area. Contact was made with the man who said he had been walking on the cart path and wanted to engage in conversation with people on the path. The man agreed not to engage people in conversation and left the area, police reports said.
