The Colorful Arts Society, Inc. (CAS), a non-profit organization that promotes appreciation, support, and involvement in the multicultural arts; will host its 20th Annual Celebration of the Arts and Scholarship Fundraiser Gala, on Sunday, October 20.
This year’s theme will be “A Retrospective of the Past 20 Years,” from when Fayette County Resident, founder and President Emerita, Dr. Mona MacDonald, first formed CAS. It will take place from 4 to 8 pm at the Kimpton Overland Hotel Atlanta, 2 Porsche Drive, Atlanta, 30354, adjacent to The Porsche Driving Experience.
The Celebration of the Arts Gala is the CAS annual fundraiser, which provides scholarship support for those of all cultures, who are pursuing an education and/ or career in the Arts.
There will be an Artists’ Market, which will showcase beautiful, original works of fine art, and the entertainment will be provided by Houston, Texas-based Song Byrd, who will delight attendees with R&B Soul, Nu Jazz, and Neo Soul music.
