Colton Bird (left) and Brock Merritt obtained the highest rank in Scouts BSA — Eagle Scout — on Tuesday, June 11th. Colton made an instrument rack for the SMHS Orchestra department and Brock cleared an outdoor area and made seating available for Evergreen Church. Both boys are rising seniors at SMHS. Troop 201 meets Monday nights at Providence United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
