It could not have been any closer at the Wingfoot Classic in Cartersville, as Nick Nyman of Starr’s Mill came within less than four-tenths of a second of beating East Coweta’s Kyle Harkabus, who is undefeated this season.
Nyman took the lead by two strides with 75 meters to go, but Harkabus pulled even with 25 meters left and came out on top in a sprint to the finish, recording a time of 15:46.4 according to the Atlanta Track Club website.
