A live wrestling event scheduled for April 27 at the Roger Spencer Community Center in Tyrone has been organized as a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Georgia to help create life-changing wishes for local children facing critical illnesses.

ACTION Wrestling is staging the event, with the main event featuring former University of Tennessee-Chattanooga football star Gunner Miller against Dominic Garrini, a purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu.

“This promises to be a fun night, and all for a good cause,” said ACTION Wrestling CEO Matt Griffin, a Tyrone resident and Wish Granter with Make-A-Wish Georgia.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with ACTION Wrestling for this unique event,” said Jaylie Welch, manager of community events for Make-A-Wish Georgia.

The show will feature seven wrestling matches and is appropriate for all ages. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with bell time set for 7:30.

Tickets start at $10 for general admission and can be purchased online at (www.action-wrestling.com) or via email ([email protected]).

Second-row reserved tickets are $12. The front row is sold out.
