Hertiage Run is Saturday
Heritage Christian Church in Fayetteville is excited to announce their first annual Color Run, “Color Me for Camp,” on Nov. 4 on their cross country course. Proceeds will directly benefit WinShape Camp expenses and provide scholarships.   Festivities will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the run will kick-off at 9 a.m.
The race fee is $30, which includes a Color Run T-shirt. Registration deadline to guarantee a T-shirt is Oct. 20..

They will raffle off two full scholarships to WinShape Camp at the Color Run.  All registered participants will be entered to win!

Evergreen silent auction
Evergreen Church is hosting a holiday silent auction Nov. 4 from 2-4 p.m. Chapter BA, P.E.O. is sponsoring the affair raising money for scholarships for women’s education. P.E.O. is a national organization in the U.S. and Canada.Evergreen Church is located at 400 Windgate Rd. in Peachtree City.  Holiday desserts will be served. Unique gift items, including vintage items, will be auctioned.
On Sunday, November 5, Faith Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg invites you to join in celebrating our Reformation 500 Festival. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. with our outdoor festival immediately after! All Saints Christmas Bazaar
All Saints Anglican Church will hold its Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Our vendors will be offering unique, handmade items such as ceramic jewelry, American Girl Doll clothes, works of art, and handmade cards to name a few, plus the Holy Stitchers of All Saints have been working hard to create beautiful items for gifts, the home, children and of course, Christmas!
This year’s bazaar will support the Real Life Center. Bazaar chairperson, Lori Overson said “Working in support of the Real Life Center fits the mission of our church outreach. The Real Life center is a non-profit organization that serves families in Fayette and Coweta counties by offering programs designed to help families get back on their feet. We feel Real Life achieves so much with its food program, educational classes and one on one job counseling. We hope everyone will support our Bazaar because it also means you’re supporting the Real Life Center. Together we can make a difference.”

Grief Share at Holy Trinity
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will offer “GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays” to the community on Nov. 15, or  Nov. 17.  The holidays can be an especially difficult time when you have lost a loved one.  “GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays” is a helpful, encouraging seminar for those facing the holidays after a loved one’s death. Participation in previous GriefShare sessions is not required to attend.  There is no cost for this program.
The seminar features practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with clergy, counselors, grief experts, and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death. Topics to be discussed include dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about family traditions, how to survive social events and where to find comfort and strength.

St. Andrews’ Christmas Bazaar
St. Andrew’s Fine Art & Craft Fair & ECW Christmas Bazaar, Bake Sale & Golden Elephant is Dec. 2 from  9 a.m.-2 p.m. at 316 North Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.
Over 18 juried artists and crafts-persons will be selling jewelry, pottery, textiles, wood sculpture, fine art, art photography.
Russ Gariota creates water fowl sculptures from wood golf clubs,and  found wood. He fashions small treasure chests from rare woods and inlays.
