In preparation for the upcoming season, the McIntosh cross-country team hosted its first summer camp in Helen where the team bonded over activities such as trail running, bowling, tubing, and hosting an outdoor cookout.

Coaches Jason Newton and Emily Borsare are optimistic about the season ahead, with the boys team currently first and the girls team second on Georgia Milesplit’s AAAAA preseason rankings.

The top runners for the boys are Vladimir Zander-Velloso, Zach Jaeger, and Alex Deboy while the top girls are Megan Uszynski, Zoe Smith, and Brianna Sattinger.
