A Chicago man sleeping in his car at The Avenue on Aug. 3 was arrested for possessing a quantity of candy containing ecstasy (MDMA).
Devon L. Hudson, 27, was charged with possession of MDMA, misdemeanor marijuana possession and a city ordinance violation, according to Peachtree City Police Department spokesperson Odilia Bergh.
Police reports said Hudson at approximately 1 a.m. was found sleeping in his vehicle in front of the Victoria’s Secret store. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of blue candies which were determined after field testing to contain Ecstasy.
Bergh said the weight of the candy containing MDMA totaled 23.6 grams.
Hudson was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail.
