The period of July 18-23 came with a burglary and two entering autos just east of Peachtree City.
Sheriff Barry Babb said the incidents occurred at the Peachtree East Shopping Center on Ga. Highway 54 adjacent to Peachtree City.
A burglary was reported at the Dunkin’ Donuts store on July 23. An employee opening the store found that the alarm was not activated and subsequently found the back door closed but unlocked, Babb said.
Babb said cash was missing from the register.
Two vehicles were reported entered on July 22 in the shopping center parking lot. One of the vehicles had the rear passenger window broken and checks made out to businesses stolen.
The second vehicle had the driver’s window broken out but nothing was stolen, Babb said.
A burglary on Rising Star Road south of Fayetteville was reported on July 21. Entry into the vacant home was made through an unlocked porch window and resulted in the theft of a few antique items remaining in the house, said Babb.
An entering auto was reported on July 22 at a residence on White Oak Drive off Ga. Highway 314. Babb said the homeowner had a wallet stolen from her unlocked vehicle.
