Carl David Sherrill, age 67

July 12, 1949 – June 16, 2017

It is with heavy heart and a deep sense of grief that we share the passing of our husband, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather who died peacefully at home on Friday, June 16, 2017.

David applied his principles and common sense approach with a deep passion for life. He enjoyed a hearty laugh, a strong handshake, and a healthy dose of humility. His longtime dedication to service assisted and benefited people worldwide. In his path, things moved. Nothing stayed still. Tenacious, focused, persevering and wise, David’s career objective was “To use my skills in the best possible way for achieving the company’s goals.”

Special thanks to our friends, neighbors, his colleagues at Southern Company and the caring staff at Bridgeway Hospice.
