North Fayette United Methodist Church will begin the Lenten season of penance with an Ash Wednesday worship service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday March 1 (tonight).

Beginning March 2,  and continuing every Thursday evening during Lent, the church will offer “Soup and Sacrament” at 6:30 p.m. Each session will include a light supper of soup or chili, followed by a short lesson from the series “That the World May Know” by Ray Vander Laan.

The service will close with Holy Communion.

These sessions are open to everyone. There is no cost. Supper will be provided by volunteers.

We will also receive donations of food and lightly used clothing for the Fayette Samaritans.
