About 250 people packed into the Jury Assembly Room of the Fayette County Justice Center Dec. 16 to watch Scott Ballard be sworn in as the newest Superior Court Judge for the Griffin Judicial Circuit, which includes Fayette County.
Ballard was elected during the May 24 general nonpartisan primary.
Fayette County Probate Court Judge Ann Jackson administered the oath of office.
