The Peachtree City Falcon Field Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is hosting an open house Thursday, Oct. 27, 7-8:30 p.m.at 1120 Echo Court, Falcon Field Airport, in Peachtree City.
According to Major David Serafin, squadron commander, the entire community is welcome to attend and learn more about CAP, which has been serving America for 75 years. Members of the squadron will be present to greet visitors and explain CAP’s missions for America.
CAP was founded Dec. 1, 1941.
Peachtree City Falcon Field Composite Squadron’s open house is designed to create a greater awareness of CAP’s presence and contributions in the community such as emergency services, cadet programs, aerospace education, and to invite citizens ages 12 and up to have an opportunity to be a part of serving our community, county, state and country.
Currently, GA-116 meets every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the airport. Ages 12 and up are welcome to join. Find out more about GA-116 at www.GA116.org or on Facebook.
