It’s time we rediscover our constitutional governance

It’s time we stop playing the political correctness game. As a Christian in America I find it appalling that I’m being told that to say, “All lives matter” is socially unacceptable. Our elected leaders from the President on down need to start living up to their oaths of office. All Americans, regardless of race, need to start honoring their pledge to our nation.

Innocent Americans are dying in our streets. Tragically these acts of violence contradict our affirmed belief in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

America must get back to constitutional governance. We need leaders who are true patriots not political activists. Our brave military men and women defend our freedoms. Likewise, our law enforcement and first responders do the same. They put their lives on the line every day.

Those who engage in spreading anti-American propaganda such as “war on women,” “war on LGBT,” “war on income inequality,” “war on police” and so on must cease and desist. Such rhetoric breeds civil unrest and promotes domestic terrorism. The real war that we face as a nation is the war on radical Islamic terrorism. We need to increase our readiness to fight and win this war. We will lose if we do not stop fighting one another.

The world is watching.
