The Fayette County Public Library will show “Gone With The Wind” Saturday, July 16, at 1:15 p.m. Doors open at 12:45.
The event marks the novel’s continued presence on the best-seller list 80 years after its initial printing. There will be period dressed ushers and live music. The event is free and will take place in the library’s recently upgraded Meeting Room.
This movie presentation will be suitable for audiences age 12 years and older. The entire length of the movie is four hours. Refreshments will be provided. There will be a 10-minute intermission.

The collaboration between The Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum and the Fayette County Public Library is due to the shared interest in promoting the rich history of Fayette County through programming that is enlightening and entertaining for all ages.
