Church group thanks public safety personnel

A “thank you” luncheon was hosted recently by the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) of Fayetteville First Baptist Church.

The group recognized the Fayetteville Police Department and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.

More than 130 people were in attendance from the two departments, members of the WMU, the pastors and staff of FFBC, and other government officials.

We were honored to be able to serve those that serve the community on a daily basis,” according to a spokesperson.
