Brezinas to speak at banquet

Greg and Connie Brezina of Christian Families Today will speak at a Marriage Enrichment Banquet scheduled for Saturday, March 5, 6-8 p.m. at Sharpsburg Baptist Church, 6413 Hwy. 54 in Sharpsburg.

The couple “will share basic biblical principles they have employed for building a lifelong, joy-filled marriage,” according to a church spokesperson. “Enjoy a great meal, good fellowship and the chance to hear from an accomplished speaker and respected Atlanta sports figure.”

Greg Brezina played 11 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, appearing in 151 games, and was recently selected as #29 of the top 50 players on the franchise’s 50th anniversary team.

The dinner menu will feature two popular selections from Olive Garden with entree, salad, bread, desserts, tea and coffee for $30 per couple. Get your reservations in to the church office by Sunday, Feb. 28.
