A Dec. 30 burglary at a business on Ga. Highway 54 near Peachtree City left the store short of cash, pre-paid phone cards and other items.
Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb said the burglary at Jaqueria Los Comales occurred between 3:30-4 a.m. after the burglar removed a plate glass window from its frame and climbed inside.
A substantial amount of cash was stolen along with approximately $2,000 in pre-paid phone cards,and several hundred dollars in other products, Babb said.
Babb said the burglary is under investigation. Anyone with information pertaining to this crime is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 770-461-6353.
