Concert set for Dec. 13

Georgia Singers choirs will perform their Fall/Christmas Concert Sunday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City.

Admission is free. Donations are accepted.

The two choirs feature young women from seventh grade to young adult.  They will be performing pieces for treble voices ranging from hymn arrangements (“All Things Bright and Beautiful,” “Be Thou My Vision”) to show-stopping popular tunes to traditional carols of the season from across the ages (“Sussex Carol,” “Ave Maria,” “Magnificat,” “Gaudete” and “Sleigh Ride”) and portions of a Christmas Mass by Josef Rheinberger.  Outstanding soloists and instrumentalists will be featured as well.
