Interview with Lamar Wallace Nov. 8
Hopewell UMC in Tyrone will host “An Interview with Lamar Wallace”, on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 10:30 a.m. Wallace will turn 104 years old, on Nov. 28, and has a lot to say about his experiences in the service and about his life in general. In honor of Veteran’s Day, the church will conduct this interview, which should be of great interest to all ages. Hopewell is located at 351 Jenkins Rd., across from Sandy Creek High. Griffin church to honor vets
The New Generation Christian Fellowship church will honor all veterans who served and are now serving the country with a special service on Nov. 8 at 8 a.m. Guest speaker will be evangelist Sandra Brownlee, U.S. Army, retired. A home-cooked breakfast will be served following the service. Those who need transportation in the local area may call 770-228-5002 for assistance. The church is at 1344 N. 9th St., Griffin.

Women’s ministry meets at PTCCOC
The ladies of “Becoming, A Woman’s Ministry” at Peachtree City church of Christ invite women in the community to attend a “Friendsgiving Feast” and message on “loving thy neighbor” on Monday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at  the church, 201 South Peachtree Parkway. Becoming is a montly gathering of ladies aged middle school to adult. Its vision is that women of all ages can be inspired during a time of fellowship outside weekly worship and Bible study. Ladies’ event set at Woolsey
The Ladies Christmas Potpourri Luncheon of Woolsey Baptist Church is an event of Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Sponsored by Legacy, the Ladies Ministry, the Theme is “Letting Go to Grasp Glorious Riches”from Ephesians 3:16-19.  The speaker will be Carol Kirby. A juice/coffee/breakfast pastry/muffin bar will be in the foyer beforehand. Tickets are $10 each and available thru Wednesday, Nov. 4 from the church office, 770- 461- 9618.  Childcare will not be provided. Woolsey Baptist is located at 115 Hampton Rd. in Fayetteville.

Run for missions planned at Woolsey
The annual 5k for Missions is Dec. 12 at Woolsey Baptist Church.  Register online at     http://www.woolseybaptist.org/missions/5k.  Prices are $10 for the 1k for kids and $25 for the 5k, with a family max of $60.
