The Flat Creek Niners of Peachtree City hosted a benefit golf tournament Sept. 29 with all proceeds going to support Promise Place.
Group members were decked out in all purple to support domestic violence awareness – purple fairy wings, elaborate head bands, and even balloons attached to their shirts with signs stating, “Raisin Awareness for Promise Place.”
Presenting the $5,614 check to Promise Place are, from left, Rita Briggs, Lenna Siderius, Gail Lindskog, Sue Reed, Vanessa Wilkins, Jean McAdoo, Alice Todd, Kathy Crocker-Paridon and Jo Muratti.
