Fayette Senior Services will present “Surviving the Holidays” Wednesday, Nov. 18, 11 a.m.-noon at its Peachtree City location (Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail).
The holiday season is often referred to as “the most wonderful time of the year” but for others it can be extremely overwhelming. The season is full of excitement and anticipation but can still bring dread and anxiety. If you feel more stress or sadness than peace and joy, Ann Sheerin with Grow Counseling will help with strategies to manage your expectations, comparisons, and loneliness. Understanding what causes stress during this time and applying new approaches can help us thrive this year and create memorable experiences so many of us desire.
The program is free but pre-registration is required at 770-461-0813 or register@fayss.org (include name, phone number and event title). FSS members and non-members welcome. For more information, visit www.fayss.org.
